Thayer McCain, MA, OTR/L, founder and president of Thriving at HomeTM, is a licensed and certified Occupational Therapist with over two decades of experience in a broad spectrum of rehabilitation settings. He has extensive experience in home health, geriatrics, outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, and mental health services. Mr. McCain has a reputation for developing practical solutions that reflect a Yankee ingenuity and resourcefulness and is adept at developing solutions for the most tenacious barriers to his clients' optimal performance.

In cooperation with Minuteman Senior Services in Burlington, MA, he piloted a program to increase the independence of elderly clients through training in the use of assistive devices and techniques that has now been extended to contracts with several elder service agencies. His innovative and comprehensive approach to health care issues is the basis for frequent lectures and trainings in the professional community. Mr. McCain has an infectious enthusiasm and passion for his endeavor that permeates his clinical and managerial styles.
